- You've noticed that heat tends to melt the tie rod / ball joint / sway bar rubber boots when you're racing your Corvette. That problem gets solved with the Koolmat Boot Heat Shield Insulation Kit. These 14 die-cut strips are grommeted on both ends for easy installation with black UV tie straps.
- KoolMat is a high temperature composite insulation that consists of densified silicone that is cured directly into the weave and surface of a fiberglass mat. The materials are mechanically and permanently joined together in the manufacturing process without adhesives, which means KoolMat a one of a kind product that won't separate, puncture easily, or tear. It's watertight, insulates and isolates from the environment, so it won't burn, crack from the heat, dry out, hold moisture, or wear out. Noise is also reduced by as much as 23 decibels. It's safe to handle and easy to install.
