• This chassis black POR-15 Top Coat is a direct-to-metal coating that's designed to work on bare metal that's been prepped and works where there's a need to preserve substrates that are susceptible to corrosion. This complies with OSHA color codes for areas marked for caution, physical hazards, or protective equipment. With it's long term sheen and color retention, it can be applied directly to metal substrates or surfaces that have been previously painted, without needing primer or undercoat. A robust barrier is formed that provides protection from moisture. This top coat also has great adhesion and when used with POR-15 Rust Preventive Coating, works to provide a permanent barrier to corrosion. At purchase, choose from the 14 oz aerosol can, 1 pint, or 1 quart cans.
