C5 C6 Corvette 1997-2013 Hatch Deck Lid Pop Assist

Works great. Lifts trunk lid about 3/4 of an inch. Plenty of room to get fingers underneath to lift lid. However, when closing lid, follow thru with hand pressure to close. It's all good. Much better than trying to readjust origanal spring in lower latch. That job is major surgery and down the line it will only weaken again. This took me about 10 min to install with a T30 torx screwdriver. It took that long because I wanted to get the spring in nice a straight. Do the job!
