Q: Does this item just sit on top of the battery and can it vibrate ?

A: Yes, this product is just pressure fit on top of the battery and around the fuse box. It has very little vibration, any unwanted movement can be further reduced by using Velcro. Answer provided by: Alex (7/31/2017)
