C6 Corvette 2005-2013 LED Eagle Eye Tail Lights

My view is that the Corvette is built to a price point. If you are happy with the car, it is a bargain. But you can upgrade many of the inexpensive parts very easily. I am aware that the Corvette is a low car and I was not very impressed with the power of the stock taillights compared to more modern cars. I ordered the Eagle Eyes and installed them in about 15 minutes--I think I spent more time cleaning out the housings of the old taillights as there was a lot of dust in there! Installation is a snap with one caveat: the instructions say you need a Torx No. 20 screwdriver but in fact it should be a No. 15. I suspect that all C6s are the same and I had the correct screwdriver already from the installation of my console cover. The lights are easy to install (L for left and R for right, duh!) and the resistors attach firmly with their adhesive backing. Most important, the lights are far, far brighter and look really up-to-date. 5 stars from me--if you have a Torx No. 15!
