Late model sports cars have high technology finishes inside and out, and if the car is to last the paint, the upholstery and the interior and exterior trim must be protected from dirt, weather and damaging UV rays. Even the undercarriage and the wheels should be kept clean to preserve the car from corrosion, particularly if the Vette travels roads where salt is used to prevent icing.
